It shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone. Albert Pujols won the N.L. MVP today. The shocking part is that Ryan Howard came in second and got 37.5% of the first place votes. How can anyone justify giving a first place vote to a guy that struck out 199 times, batted a paltry .251 and had an OPS of only .882? Nope. Sorry. That doesn't even make my top 10.
